Apple has been known to support a product for longer than many companies in the industry. While most Apple products come with a standard one-year warranty, the length in which Apple provides technical support and hardware service and repairs, as well as software updates, is longer than most.
Apple provides service and repair for products for at least 5 years after they have been last manufactured. After 7 years has passed after they have been last manufactured, Apple would stop providing service for any device under any circumstances.
