The mail server settings (the SMTP, POP and IMAP settings) can be used to connect a email account on a server, to a email client. This guide covers the mail server settings for Outlook, but refer to How to Find the Mail Server Settings for Various Email Services for other major email service providers.
Note: This guide covers the online version (Outlook.com) of Outlook. This guide does not cover the downloadable software Microsoft Outlook.
The general mail server settings are listed below. Outlook has IMAP enabled, but does not have POP enabled by default. Learn how to enable POP for Outlook.
