Distributed computing is a term used for a method of computation that leverages computing power from multiple computers to act as one in order to improve performance. Multiple computers communicate over and network and use their power of numbers to solve a common task.
Distributed computing has recently also become a method of income for individuals by enrolling their computers in a distributed computing network. Those networks utilize the RAM and CPU of the individual’s computer while it is idle.
